Gerald has 25 years of experience in the education industry in various capacities and has a rich blend of experience, knowledge, network and know-how across the region. Gerald is known as a strategist and business developer/advisor with excellent skills in idea generation, developing new markets, relationship building and partnership and collaboration.
Gerald has in-depth knowledge and understanding of the education sector and systems across the region. He obtained a Bachelor of Science (Computer Science and Information Systems) from Deakin University, Australia, a Certificate of Teaching from the University of Canberra, Australia and an MBA from Charles Sturt University, Australia.
Gerald is a certified trainer/coach and currently sits on the international advisory boards of the business faculties of Curtin University, Sarawak Campus, Sunway University, Malaysia and Veritas University. In addition, he is an Associate Faculty member of the Othman Yeop Abdullah Graduate School of Business of Universiti Utara Malaysia (UUM).
Gerald has coached on the Coach & Grow Programme (CGP) by Proficeo and Cradle Investment, a market-driven programme intended to bring together key players in the entrepreneurial ecosystem to train existing entrepreneurs to grow their businesses to greater heights, via coaching, networking and showcase events.
